Project idea (in English)

The Municipality of Olsztyn is planning to analyze potential routes of the North-East Bypass of Olsztyn, which would be located along the national road No. 51 connecting Olsztyn directly with the Kaliningrad District of the Russian Federation. To know the variants of the route of the beltway and its impact to increase mobility, especially in terms of the cross-border connection with Kaliningrad, it is necessary to review the resulting documents in this area, the condition of spatial planning and general transport needs of the society. In this connection, the commune of Olsztyn would like to prepare an analysis - a feasibility study for the construction of a beltway that would take into account various variants of its route that can be made both technically, environmentally and economically.
