The Financial Agreement between Poland, the Russian Federation and the European Commission was signed! 2017-12-29, Category: Programme news

On 28 December 2017, the Council of Ministers approved the Poland-Russia Programme 2014-2020. On the following day at 12 o’clock, Minister Jerzy Kwieciński,  on behalf of  the government, signed a tripartite Financial Agreement regarding the implementation of the Programme, which was previously adopted by the Russian Federation and the European Commission. Thus, the Poland-Russia Programme 2014-2020 has been officially approved for implementation.

Three elements were necessary for the successful launching of the Programme: a positive decision of the European Commission – obtained on 8 December 2016, the signing of the Financial Agreement by three parties (the European Commission, Poland and the Russian Federation) as well as institutional and substantive preparation.

On the day of approval of the Programme, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Poland, acting as the Managing Authority of the Programme, submitted to the European Commission five Large Infrastructure Projects, which are to be selected under a direct award procedure

In the near future a decision regarding the date of launching a call for proposals of regular projects, will be taken.
