POLAND-RUSSIA Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2014–2020
Preparation of the future edition of the Poland-Russia Programme for years 2021-2027 is underway. The new programme will be implemented within the framework of the "European Territorial Cooperation"(so-called Interreg). It is an objective of the European Union Cohesion Policy supported within the European Regional Development Fund and external financial instruments including new Neighborhood Instrument.
As part of the work on the programme, a Joint Programming Committee (JPC) was established. It consists of the Polish and Russian representatives of the national and regional authorities, institutions representing economic and social partners, as well as the education sector. The European Commission and TESIM are also involved in the work on the programme.
So far, seven meetings of the Joint Programming Committee took place:
The Joint Programming Committee has decided that the programme funds will be dedicated to support two policy objectives and one Interreg Specific Objective.
Programme Policy objectives and Interreg Specific Objective:
Policy objective 2: A greener, low-carbon Europe (including energy transition, the circular economy, climate adaptation and risk management)

Planned EU contribution to the Programme budget:
The total planned EU contribution to the Programme budget amounts to 87 344 800.00 EUR. The financial allocation consisting of the ERDF contribution (43 240 000.00 EUR) and NDICI (44 104 800.00 EUR).
