The main aim of the project is to increase the attractiveness of Russian-Polish cross-border territory for inhabitants and tourists through creation of a common historical and cultural area. Baltic Odyssey is the project of a travel offer to the sources of cultural identity of the south-eastern coast of the Baltic Sea. Project is directed to the inhabitants from cross-border region – Poles and Russians as well as tourists visiting the region. Within the project the new places of cultural and historical importance will be made – e.g. excavations, reconstruction of Viking ship. Moreover, by using of mobile technology, the world of heritage will be opened for tourist. Partners plan to develop the mobile/web application, containing all information on the interesting historical and cultural places. An archio-design brochure will be created, which will inspire craftsmen to make not just the regular things, but truly historical reconstructions. Cross-border approach is needed for information and great experience exchange.
