Training events for applicants – 1st Call for Proposals in the Poland-Russia Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020

II meeting of the Joint Monitoring Committee – Large Infrastructure Projects selected

On 15-16 March 2018, the 2nd meeting of the Joint Monitoring Committee of the Poland-Russia Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020 was held in Białystok. The most important decisions taken during the meeting concern the selection of the Large Infrastructure Projects, the approval of the Indicative Plan of the Programme Activities for 2018 and the approval of the Technical Assistance Multiannual Budget.

Take part in a survey to capture the provision of cross-border public services in Europe

The ESPON 2020 Cooperation Programme is currently undertaking a study on the territorial dimension of the provision of cross-border public services (CPS) in Europe. The objective of this study is to provide an overview of main features of CPS provision at EU borders, to highlight potential territorial problems related to CPS provision and to identify future needs in this field.

Information meeting in Elbląg

On 1st March 2018, the Local Information Point of the European Funds in Elbląg organized a meeting at the Młyn Hotel, which was attended by 23 people. During the event, information on possibilities of obtaining funds from the European Union was provided. The representative of the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Poland-Russia CBC Programme 2014-2020 presented general information about the Programme and provided answers to the participants’ questions.

The Poland-Russia Programme, together with other programmes, will participate in The Baltic Sea Future Congress in Stockholm

On 8-9 March 2018, the Poland-Russia Programme – along with other numerous partners – will take part in The Baltic Sea Future Congress in Stockholm, Sweden. A representative of the Programme will deliver a presentation at a joint workshop on innovative climate adaptation practices and funding instruments as well as hold consultations at the information stand, which will be organised jointly with other programmes.

The European Commission has announced a call for pilot projects in the field of elimination of cross-border barriers

On 1st February 2018, the European Commission announced a call for pilot projects in the field of elimination of cross-border barriers. The related issues include employment, health, transport, multilingualism, cooperation of institutions etc. Maximum co-financing can reach 20,000 euro and the planned duration of a project may not exceed 15 months. Projects may concern, for example, the unification of legal norms or elimination of administrative obstacles.
