POLAND-RUSSIA Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2014–2020
On 16-17 October 2017, the Institute of Political Science of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn hosted an international conference entitled "25 years of the Polish-Russian Treaty on friendly and neighbourly cooperation: a review of a quarter century of Polish-Russian relations".
This event was attended by Polish and Russian local government officials, researchers and local community representatives, involved in shaping and developing Polish-Russian relations. During the conference, a round table on Polish-Russian relations was held. It was devoted to the issues of Polish-Russian relations not only at the level of national authorities but also at the regional and local levels. Representatives of the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Poland-Russia Programme 2014-2020 took an active part in the conference: they participated in the panel discussion and made a presentation on the cross-border cooperation programmes on the Polish-Russian border.
Also, we would like to inform you that a regional informational seminar regarding the European Neighbourhood Instrument/ European Territorial Cooperation programmes will be held on Thursday, 19 October 2017, in Gdańsk, during which a representative of the Joint Technical Secretariat will present general information on the Poland-Russia Programme 2014-2020. The meeting is directed at all interested in the Programme, in particular representatives of local governments, socio-economic partners, NGOs and academic circles.
