POLAND-RUSSIA Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2014–2020
RegioStars Awards identify good practices in regional development and highlight original and innovative projects that are attractive and inspiring to other regions.
The Award Categories for 2018 are:
1. Supporting smart industrial transition
2. Achieving sustainability through low carbon emissions
3. Creating better access to public services
4. Tackling migration challenges
5. Topic of the year 2018: Investing in cultural heritage
The prize for the winners will be a promotional video about the project, trophy and a RegioStars 2018 certificate. This year's award ceremony will take place on 9 October 2018 in Brussels during the European Week of Regions and Cities. Finalists will be invited to the ceremony and will receive a certificate and medal. The successful projects will be published in a brochure, issued by the European Commission and in a database of best practices published on the InfoRegio website.
Applications may be submitted by project managers, with the endorsement of the managing authority. Only 2 projects can be submitted per programme in each category.
