On 7-8 June 2018, the 2nd Warmia and Mazury Congress of the Future took place at the Conference and Training Center of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. It was co-organized by the self-government and the WM Group. About 2 thousand guests and speakers took part in this year's event. Among them, there were representatives of self-government, research community, students, entrepreneurs, etc.
The participants had an opportunity to attend various panel discussions related to economy, technology or healthy lifestyle. On the second day, there was a special panel devoted to cooperation with the Kaliningrad Oblast – "Kaliningrad Region – a chance or a difficult neighborhood?". Katarzyna Maria Bartnik, Head of the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Poland-Russia Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020, took part in this panel.
During the event, the representatives of the Joint Technical Secretariat also provided numerous consultations to all interested persons on the Programme and the ongoing call for proposals at the Programme’s promotional stand.
