On 3-4 October 2018, the 5th Eastern Economic Congress was held in Bialystok. About 1,500 participants, including representatives of the world of science, business, politics and local governments, took part in the two-day debates.
Among other issues, the participants of the Congress discussed international cooperation, export relations and economic expansion. On 3 October 2018, a panel "Cross-border cooperation and its impact on the development of Eastern Poland" was held. A representative of the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Poland-Russia Programme 2014-2020 took part in it as a speaker. The presentation covered a number of issues related to the call for proposals, the current situation in the Poland-Russia Programme 2014-2020 and planned activities.
During the event, the representatives of the JTS of the Poland-Russia Programme 2014-2020 and of the JTS Branch of the Poland-Belarus-Ukraine Programme 2014-2020 in Rzeszów provided the participants with information on the Poland-Russia Programme 2014-2020 and Poland-Belarus-Ukraine Programme 2014-2020 at a promotional stand at the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic.
