POLAND-RUSSIA Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2014–2020
On 17-18 October, the meeting of the Joint Monitoring Committee of the Poland-Russia CBC Programme 2014-2020 took place in Worliny (Poland). The main purpose of this meeting was an approval of the projects submitted within the 1st Call for Proposals in thematic objectives: “Environment” and “Accessibility”.
The JMC approved 10 projects in the thematic objective “Environment” with the total amount of co-financing equal to 19 275 775,86 EUR and 4 projects in the thematic objective “Accessibility” with the total amount of co-financing equal to 8 115 778,64 EUR.
After the JMC meeting, the MA sends the list of approved projects to the EC to consult different DGs and EU Delegations in order to avoid any double funding of projects and to identify possible synergies. These consultations shall last 15 working days and take place before award decision. Following these consultations, the JMC may decide to reject proposals previously approved.
