POLAND-RUSSIA Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2014–2020
On the 7th – 8th of November 2019 a scientist conference “Europe of Families. 15 years of Poland in the European Union” took place. The conference was participated by representatives of local and regional authorities, non-governmental organizations, diplomats and beneficiaries of realized projects within cross-border cooperation programmes.
First panel of the event was related to familiarizing participants with the possibilities of support offered by Programmes at international and national levels. One of the speakers was representatives Joint Technical Secretariat of the Poland-Russia CBC Programme 2014-2020 who presents main effects of the Programme implementation.
During the conference also discussion panels on the role of the family and its situation in Europe were conducted, with attendance of diplomats, scientists as well as Programmes representatives.
The results of projects implemented under cross-border cooperation programs were also presented. The Polish-Russian borderland was represented by Krystyna Klucewicz a representative of the Voivodeship Rehabilitation Hospital for Children in Ameryka, presenting the effects of the project entitled Programme for the prevention of postural disorders and scoliosis in children from small towns and rural areas which was co-financed from the Lithuania-Poland-Russia ENPI CBC Program 2007-2013.
