Another two grant contracts are signed within the TO "Environment"! 2020-05-11, Category: Programme news

We would like to inform that two grant contracts for co-financing of regular projects within TO "Environment" are signed.

The project "Rybno commune and Gusev’s cross-border initiative for the protection of the Baltic Sea by reducing pollution from sensitive and valuable natural areas and promoting a circular economy" will be implemented by Rybno Commune, Administration of Municipality "Gusev city district" and Municipal Services Department in Rybno Ltd. The planned activities include among others the extension of the sanitary sewage system in Rybno Commune and construction of a sewerage network with a sewage treatment plant in Gusev District. The total value of the project is equal to 2 191 070 EUR, whereas co-financing for the project is 1 970 199 EUR.

Another grant contract for co-financing was signed for the project entitled "Joint response of public healthcare institutions to climate related diseases and health hazards". The project will be implemented by two partners – Voivodeship Hospital in Suwałki and Chernyakhovsk Central District Hospital. The activities within the project include renovation of a Neurology Ward with Stroke Sub-Department, together with buying special medical equipment for Voivodeship Hospital in Suwałki. On the Russian side, beneficiary is planning to purchase modern medical equipment and special devices for Chernyakhovsk Hospital. The total budget of the project is 2 170 232.73 EUR, of which the co-financing value is 1 953 209.45 EUR.
