Two projects, implemented within the Lithuania-Poland-Russia Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 2007-2013, take part in the RegioStars 2020 competition organised every year by the European Commission.
The first submitted project "Museums over the borders" was implemented by the Museum of Archaeology and History in Elbląg and the Museum "The Friedland Gate" in Kaliningrad. Project “Museums over the borders” can be found in the third category: Inclusive growth – Skills & Education for a digital Europe.
The second project implemented by the City of Ełk in cooperation with the city of Ozersk "The development of active tourism as a common ground for the Polish-Russian cooperation" can be found in the category: Youth empowerment for cooperation across borders – 30 years of Interreg – topic of the year 2020.
The submitted projects were published on the RegioStars website under the link: https://regiostarsawards.eu/. You can support these projects by giving them "likes". You should just click on an icon (heart) next to the description of the project. The list of the selected finalists will be announced on the 9th of July 2020. In the next step, we will have a possibility to vote for our favorite project. We will publish the link for voting on our website.
