5th meeting of the Joint Monitoring Committee is behind us! 2020-11-10, Category: Programme news

Last month, an online meeting of the Joint Monitoring Committee of the Poland-Russia CBC Programme 2014-2020 was held.

During the meeting, the state of play of the Programme implementation, including projects implemented within all three thematic objectives, and changes made in the projects were discussed. Issues related to the preparation of the Interreg Poland-Russia Programme for the years 2021-2027 were also discussed.

The Joint Monitoring Committee decided to transfer savings from the Thematic Objective "Environment" to the Thematic Objective "Heritage", thanks to which two projects from the reserve list from this thematic objective will receive co-financing. The first project “From the local to global: local heritage objects as tourism attractions and tools of crossborder education for its preservation”, will be implemented by the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University in cooperation with the European Foundation for Monuments Protection and the Kaliningrad Regional Museum of History and Arts. Within the implementation of the second project from the list "Cross-border people in action – tourism, recreation, culture: our common cause – Ełk, Ozersk, Stare Juchy", several partners will cooperate – Elk City Municipality, Administration of Ozersk town district, Elk Culturel Center and Stare Juchy Commune.
