On 3-4 June 2022 in Lidzbark Warmiński, a study visit was organised as part of the project ‘CBCycle: Crossborder cycle routes for the promotion and sustainable use of cultural heritage’, co-financed within the European Union under the European Neighborhood Instrument. Its aim was to present the accessibility and use of cultural heritage objects in the creation of a tourist offer targeted at bicycle tourists and to exchange experiences related to the planning and development of bicycle routes.
On the first day of the visit, a bike ride took place on the route from Lidzbark Warmiński to Stoczek Klasztorny. The next day of the visit started with a guided walk around the city. Then the group of the participants was divided into two teams. The first group visited the Warmia Museum and played a castle game entitled ‘Search for the Custodian's treasure’ whereas the other group participated in the show of Warmia bonnets inscribed on the national list of intangible cultural heritage, covered by the UNESCO convention. An additional attraction was the performance of the Pearl of Warmia Folk Dance Group.
