On 6-8 September 2022, the representatives of the Center of European Projects, including our Programme, participated in the 31st Economic Forum in Karpacz. This year's event was held within the slogan 'Europe in the Face of New Challenges'.
The purpose of the Forum was to exchange views on the current economic situation, security and overcoming crises.
On the first day of the event, a discussion panel ‘Investments in the regions. How are the European cities and regions changing thanks to the funds?’ was held. Mr Leszek Buller – Director of the Center of European Projects took part in the discussion. Many topics were discussed, such as ways of emerging from the crisis after a pandemic and tools for creating new jobs and modernising infrastructure.
On the last day of the forum, there was a discussion panel entitled ‘Shaping pro-environmental attitudes in tourism’, with the participation of Mr Krzysztof Szulborski – Mayor of Miłakowo, who represented the project implemented in our Programme. During the panel, issues related to the pro-environmental approach to tourism, the use of natural resources, as well as the development of environmental policy, both at the national and regional levels, were discussed.
