On Wednesday, another grant contract for co-financing of a regular project 'Development of cross-border tourism in Szczytno District and Svetlogorsk City District' in the thematic objective 'heritage' has been signed.

The project will be implemented by the Szczytno District in cooperation with the Svetlogorsk City District.

The activities include the construction of a 22,7 km bicycle path, which will run along the railway embankment in Szczycieński District. On the Russian side, a park in Svetlogorsk will be modernised, with constructing a summer scene with appropriate equipment.

The total value of the project is 1 155 462.88 EUR, whereas the Programme co-financing is equal to 1 039 916.59 EUR.
