The main objective of the project is to protect and promote cultural, historical and natural heritage in the Kaliningrad region and in the Pomeranian Voivodeship. It will be achieved by making collections related to the history and cultural heritage of Gdańsk and Kaliningrad publicly available. One of the specific objectives of the project is to provide access for disabled people to the new cultural offer. The project implementation will enable a number of tourists and residents to use the cultural initiative as well as mutual promotion of the regions and exchange of experiences of individual partners. The initiated cooperation will be the basis for building an interesting tourist product of both regions. The partners plan a creation of a permanent exhibition at the Great Mill in Gdańsk including the purchase of equipment and exhibits. Moreover, construction works in one part of the Amber Manufactory complex in Kaliningrad (the transformation of its garages into a new storage, restoration work and exhibition space) will be implemented.
